10 years of the villain: A script worthy of a movie

As a tribute to its 10th anniversary, our mythical Lisbon bar will host three specially designed evenings that promise not to disappoint and to deliver the best music in the same old house.

A decade of existence is a reason for "someone explain to me what in this world is real". It's enough time for a lot of people to write a bit of their story, eternalizing moments and celebrating life with a script worthy of a Sergio Leone film. After all, 10 years is more than 80,000 hours in which we've been able to fly high, share, toast and smile - yes, because we know that deep down every villain has a hint of hero.

And The Good, the Bad and the Villain is ready to celebrate this in style. It's going to be three days of partying in the best atmosphere in Lisbon (modesty aside), promising to deliver nights like no other.

A passage through the Decade

This milestone and anniversary brings the unique opportunity to reflect on the bar's journey over the decades. Since opening its doors in 2013, Bom o Mau e o Vilão has taken over the nightlife scene in the heart of Lisbon, constantly evolving to offer an ever more engaging experience. With lots of music, a menu of classic and signature cocktails, in an unmistakable space - a place that pulls in those who like to sway to the beat of the best DJs, travel between the best glasses and create memories for a lifetime.

Over the years, our beloved Vilão has experienced countless unforgettable moments and nights, from the most spontaneous dances to the most out-of-the-box theme parties, to overcoming fire and the pandemic. The bar never stopped, always ready for new adventures, hosting a wide range of DJs and alternative artists from all over, leaving its mark on the independent music industry.

I don't want to be the villain, but what about the party?

The party promises a program for all tastes, full of star DJs and artists who will adorn the bar's five rooms and guarantee three days like no other.

On the first day, we'll have a line-up dedicated especially to women, kicking off the evening with a lively quiz session full of humor with Djubsu, and the illustrious presence of DJ Mãe Dela, one of the first women to play records in Lisbon in the late 90s. That night, starting at 11pm, the "Groovie Queen" Da Chick will take over, fine-tuning the encounter between dance, soul and electronica. And to close the night in style we have Dj Umaafricana, who brings her energetic Afrobeat vibe to keep the party going until the end... The party continues the next day.

Friday night will open with a live music session by Nel Assassin from the band MãoDobra, followed by Ricardo Guerra's famous radio show, Revolta do Vinyl, with special guest DJ Sheri Vari, also a presenter on Oxigénio radio.

The third and final night will be marked by the performance of the Zimbora Band, who will take us on a journey through the best of the world of Reggae and HipHop. And to close the last day of the anniversary with a joyful and intellectual vibe, we have the presence of Dj Lucky & Mr Mute b2b, presenting a set of unpredictable and eclectic songs.

Bom o Mau e o Vilão celebrates its 10th anniversary not only as a celebration of the bar that it is, but as a tribute to the community of customers and friends who have made this space in Cais do Sodré the iconic destination that it is to this day. These will be memorable nights that prove the eternal power of music and shared moments in nightlife.
